A relaxed place to make something special
If you enjoy hands-on projects and a laid-back creative atmosphere, Board & Brush Creative Studio Round Rock is an easy place to love. Located at 1700 E Palm Valley Blvd, Suite 470, the studio offers guided DIY workshops where guests can slow down, get creative, and leave with a finished piece they are genuinely proud to hang at home. Visitors often mention how welcoming the space feels and how upbeat, patient the instructors are, especially for first-timers.
What they offer
Board & Brush specializes in DIY wood projects, including custom signs and decor pieces with farmhouse and vintage-inspired designs. Each workshop includes all materials, tools, and step-by-step instruction, so no prior experience is needed. Instructors walk you through sanding, staining, painting, and finishing, while still giving you the freedom to personalize your project with names, dates, or custom details.
The studio hosts public workshops and private events for birthdays, girls’ nights, family outings, team-building events, bridal showers, and fundraisers. It is also a BYOB space, which adds to the relaxed, social feel of each session.
The experience
Classes feel upbeat and encouraging, with instructors who explain each step clearly and offer help when needed without hovering. Guests enjoy chatting, laughing, and creating together, and many say it quickly becomes a favorite way to unwind or reconnect with friends. Whether you are carving out creative downtime or planning a group event, Board & Brush delivers a fun experience with something meaningful to take home.
