Baskin Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, is opening a new location with plans to finish construction by the end of the year. The shop will bring its beloved scoops and signature treats to a stretch of town that’s quickly becoming a hotspot for casual dining.
A Brand Built on Flavor
Founded in 1945 in Glendale, California, Baskin Robbins started with a simple but brilliant idea: 31 flavors, one for every day of the month. That number has since grown into a flavor library of more than 1,400 varieties. From timeless classics like Mint Chocolate Chip to rotating seasonal creations, the brand has earned its spot as a go-to for ice cream fans across the globe.

The Leander location will offer everything you love about Baskin Robbins: premium ice cream, sundaes, shakes, and baked goods like cakes for every celebration. Whether you’re in the mood for a single scoop on a weekday or planning a custom ice cream cake for a party, this new spot has you covered.
Franchisee Sundeep Amirineni is behind the Leander build-out, which spans 1,566 square feet and comes with a $200,000 investment, according to state records. Construction is underway, so locals can look forward to a cool new hangout before year’s end.
