Chick-fil-A's Bar W restaurant is listed as coming soon at 400 Kauffman Loop, Leander, TX 78628. The official location page checked October 3, 2026, does not provide a firm opening date.
Has the Bar W Chick-fil-A opened?
The company's own Bar W page still says coming soon. Our earlier story gave May 2026 as a planned opening month; that estimate has passed and should not be used to plan a visit.
A restaurant announcement and a confirmed opening are different pieces of information. For this location, the current official page provides an address and recruiting information, but not operating hours.
Where is the restaurant?
Chick-fil-A identifies the restaurant as Bar W and lists its address as 400 Kauffman Loop in Leander. Use that specific location page when checking for updates rather than a page for another Georgetown or Leander restaurant.
Who is operating it?
The Bar W page names David Snow as the restaurant operator. It also lists kitchen, customer-service and leadership jobs. Applicants should check the current listing for available roles and application details; recruiting does not establish an opening date.
What changed in this story
We removed the expired opening prediction and unsupported descriptions of residents' reactions and future traffic effects. Those statements did not give readers a reliable answer about when this restaurant would serve customers.
The next useful update is a dated opening announcement from the operator or Chick-fil-A. Until then, the official location page is the place to check before making plans.
