About the role

What you'll do

• Travel to industrial and commercial customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and perform startup/commissioning of electrical equipment
• Perform testing on electrical systems ranging from 480V to 600kV
• Conduct instrument and power transformer testing
• Test electromechanical and solid-state relays
• Perform cable testing using Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, and DC Hipot methods
• Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches

What you'll bring

• 2+ years of relevant experience performing electrical testing, including switchgear testing and troubleshooting
• NETA Level I, II, III, or IV certification or similar experience/certification preferred
• Associate's degree in Electrical Power & Controls, Electrical Engineering degree, or comparable military electrical power training preferred
• Relevant military backgrounds may include Army Prime Power, Air Force Electrical Power Production, or Navy Seabee experience
• Strong PC skills, including email, internet, data entry, and Microsoft Excel
• PowerDB experience is a plus

• The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $200000.00/yr
