About the role

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of 10-15 Diffusion technicians Coordinate and lead team meetings and coordinate team members’ daily workload and sustaining activities in the fab when necessary Ensure timely response to out-of-control or out-of-specification conditions to minimize impact to production and quality Monitor equipment status and technician response throughout assigned shift to ensure availability goals are met Lead the development, review and improvement of operational and technical documentation to identify and drive operational efficiency improvements Ensure SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) are utilized to work safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively Supervise electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting activities to ensure best course of corrective action is determined and executed Skills and

What you'll bring

• High school diploma / GED is required; Technical degree or equivalent military technical experience strongly preferred, but not required 5+ years of semi-conductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment highly desired Knowledge of Diffusion, TEL/KE Furnace, AMAT EPI and/or CVD process and equipment preferred Experience supporting equipment maintenance Experience supporting process development and sustaining Total Rewards At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base
