Can you believe it's Halloween week already?! October has absolutely flown by, but we managed to squeeze in some really fun Halloween events this year!

Our favorite so far was probably Halloween at the Y, hosted by Twin Lakes Family YMCA, in Cedar Park. We couldn't have asked for better weather, and I was seriously impressed with how much they packed into a free event!

Noelle and Charlie loved the huge variety of bounce houses and games, and I was especially impressed with how long Charlie managed to stay on the mechanical bull!

The face painters were fantastic, and the vendor trick-or-treating was a fun bonus.
We had such a great time and will definitely be keeping an eye out for this one next year!

🥩 Fogo de Chão plans Cedar Park restaurant

The Gist: Tableside steak could be coming to Cedar Park! Fogo de Chão is planning a 10,178-square-foot restaurant at 1005 E. New Hope Drive, according to a newly filed state project record.

The Brazilian steakhouse is known for its churrasco experience, with gaucho chefs carving fire-roasted cuts of beef, chicken, lamb and pork right at the table. Its restaurants also feature a large Market Table filled with salads, cheeses, vegetables and other sides.

Why It Matters: This would give Cedar Park another upscale option for date nights, celebrations and very hungry appetites. There’s no opening date yet, but having Fogo de Chão closer to home is plenty to look forward to.

🍔 P. Terry’s is heading to Liberty Hill

P. Terry’s Burger Stand planned for Liberty Hill, construction expected in 2027

The Gist:P. Terry's fans, this one's for you! The popular Austin-born burger chain is planning a new location at 10990 Highway 29, across from the new Target and Costco. Since opening its first restaurant in 2005, P. Terry's has earned a loyal following for its burgers, fresh-cut fries, hand-spun milkshakes, and retro burger-stand charm.

Why It Matters: If you've ever made a special trip for a P. Terry's burger (or those fries!), you know why this is exciting. Soon, Liberty Hill families will have a location right in their own backyard. And who doesn't love having another easy dinner option on a busy weeknight?

What's Next: Construction is expected to begin in January 2027 and wrap up in July, with an opening targeted for late 2027. There's still a bit of a wait, but we'll keep you posted!
