Medicare 101 is a free educational workshop designed to help individuals better understand the Medicare program and make informed healthcare decisions. Attendees will learn about Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, enrollment periods, coverage options, and important deadlines. The workshop also explains common Medicare terms, costs, and factors to consider when evaluating healthcare coverage.
This program is especially relevant during the Annual Enrollment Period, which runs from October 15 through December 7 each year, when many Medicare beneficiaries actively review their healthcare coverage and consider changes for the upcoming year.
Designed for individuals approaching Medicare eligibility, current beneficiaries, caregivers, and family members, the workshop provides unbiased, easy-to-understand information in a welcoming environment. No sales activities or plan-specific marketing will occur; the focus is solely on education and informed decision-making.
Seating is limited - once all spots are taken in the classroom, later arrivals will not be able to attend. However, RRPL does plan to host more of these types of info sessions in the future. Come on by!
