Goodwill: Computer Basics Class (18+ years) - Registration Required

This Computer Basics presentation introduces participants to essential computer and internet skills. It covers the basic parts of a laptop, as well as how to get started by turning on a computer, connecting to Wi-Fi, and opening a web browser. Participants will learn foundational computer concepts along with basic navigation skills.

The presentation will also explain what the internet is, why people use it, and how devices connect online. Through guided activities, participants explore online resources such as Goodwill Central Texas Workforce Advancement services and the Library’s digital offerings. Overall, the presentation provides a practical introduction to using a computer, accessing the internet, navigating websites, and finding online resources for employment, education, and everyday needs.
