The amount of care and love every employee has is incredible.

Shout out to all the wonderful people at Truewood. One of the hardest things in life, I believe, is watching parents grow older and lose their independence. In searching for a care facility for my 92 yr old mom, I had 3 places on my list. After checking the first two, I drove by Truewood and decided to go in and take a look. Not having an appointment, I didn't expect much in the way of help, but immediately Caitlin was generous enough to give me a tour and answer any questions I had. We even sat and talked about my mom's needs and situation. I was very pleased with all that Caitlin told me. My brother and I decided on Truewood. In the following days Caitlin was there every step of the way...answering our MANY questions, guiding our steps and encouraging us till the end. She also gives the greatest hugs! My brother and I have been very pleased with all the great help and care Mom is getting. Praying Mom will have joy for many days to come.

Truewood by Merrill has provided a great experience for our family since the first moment we visited. Caitlyn Bickerstaff met with us, discussed all of the aspects of care here, answered our multitude of questions and gave us a tour. We were so impressed we didn’t visit any other facilities. Caitlyn and I talked almost every day prior to decision making and move in. Mom needed memory care and facility and staff were awesome from the first moment. We moved Mom in about 5 weeks after that first encounter and have been very pleased with the care Mom has received since. Can’t recommend it enough. It’s a well run, clean, happy place with excellent care and compassion by all.

Oct'24 I've been living here for a little over a year and my experience has been very good. The professional staff has been very helpful. Cristina Gonzalez has provided exceptional help with my care including medications and other services. Rachel Leupold and Don Nichols are good leaders for all the activities in Truewood.

The caregivers in the memory care were so wonderful to my mom during the last months of her life. They were compassionate and caring. Recommending them for anyone’s family member
