Tried a float spa experience recently and didn’t really know what to expect going in—but it ended up being one of the most relaxing things I’ve done in a while.
The setup was clean, quiet, and intentionally calming from the moment you walk in. Soft lighting, minimal noise, and a laid-back atmosphere made it easy to slow down before even getting into the float pod. The staff explained everything clearly, which helped take away any hesitation, especially if it’s your first time.
The float itself is a unique experience. You’re essentially lying in warm, salt-saturated water where your body just… lets go. No pressure points, no effort to hold yourself up—just complete weightlessness. After a few minutes, your mind starts to settle, and it becomes less about “floating” and more about disconnecting from everything outside. The lighting inside the pod added to the calm, but you can also turn it off and sit in complete darkness, which makes it even more immersive.
What stood out most was how relaxed I felt afterward. Not just physically, but mentally—like everything slowed down in a good way. It’s not something flashy or overly stimulating; it’s the opposite. It’s simple, quiet, and effective.
If you deal with stress, anxiety, or just feel constantly “on,” this is worth trying at least once. It’s a different kind of reset that’s hard to get from anything else.

Love the staff and the coloring books! It is so relaxing! I love floating. The oxygen bar after the float is a great finishing touch
My man and I get home and sleep like gems! And now, with the added sauna in cold plunge, I couldn't ask for anything more. When I need a relax, I float when I need a pick me up, I sauna in cold plunge. The best!!

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, everything was calming and welcoming. At check-in, Steven walked me through what to expect, showed me a quick video, and then guided me back to my room.
The setup is great—you have a private space with a shower for both before and after your float. The float pod itself is completely dark and incredibly comfortable. It took me a minute to realize I was actually floating, but once I did, I fully relaxed.
At one point, it felt like I could see the music… then I realized my eyes were closed. Such a surreal experience.
They also provide toiletries afterward, which is a nice touch if you want to freshen up before heading out.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something truly relaxing and a little out of the ordinary.
I met the owner Tanner and he explained to me what true rest offered, and I was immediately intrigued! Has somebody that wants a relaxing experience given all the stress of my day-to-day life and someone who’s not a big fan of doing standard massage therapy for relaxation, this felt like it would be a good fit. I immediately booked an appointment and have to say that it was a pretty incredible experience, having never done a float spa before!
Their team was welcoming and friendly, and I actually ended up falling asleep floating after just laying in there for 10 minutes! Probably one of the most relaxing naps I’ve taken in many years!
I liked it so much. I ended up buying the three packs so I could go back again.
For anyone that has never tried to float spa, I highly recommend it. Hopefully it’s something I can build into my regular routine of self care. It’s legit!
I have been doing versions of the vitality spa and floating for over 15 years and True Rest Float Spa is absolutely one of the best I have been too, globally. A++ Vitality Spa, sauna, cold plunge and red light are top notch, always super clean, smells fresh and the float is big enough for me to stretch out and zone out. Love the team as well, super friendly and great communication.
