I came in wondering if the sign that claims they aren't fast food should be a warning or a claim. It's a claim: because this is definitely way too good to be fast food. I walked in thinking I was just gonna get a small basket of chicken and some fries, maybe a soda. But the moment we walked in and saw the menu of options, I knew it was gonna be more than that. The sauce options are classics but improved (so glad someone FINALLY made a Garlic parmesan sauce that has the actual garlic flavor I want). The daiquiri are so good, and I'm so glad they have options for those who want no Alcohol! Honestly, im going to need to come back for this spot alone!!! The wings were perfectly fried, with a perfect crunch on the outside and tender meat inside. The Sauces and Dips are all homemade! We had the wings tossed in the Quack Quack (Asian Heat - more of a sweet than spicy) sauce and the Fowl Chicken (Garlic Parmesan-Deliciously loaded with Garlic) and the tenders in the Wet Willy (Bbq) and Asian Heat. Everything paired perfectly with the homemade ranch and house sauce!!! It was all delicious and we left feeling comfortably full (not bloated) and with leftovers!!!!
If you want to go somewhere family owned and delicious. Come to thirsty chicken ! Highly recommend their wings (spicy lemon pepper flavor ) and their Gallo Loco Daiquiri . Support local business in Leander and treat yourself to a yummy meal !
Wings were a good size and cooked perfectly. Lemon pepper wings were very salty. I will go back and try a different flavor.
This place used to be amazing a year ago. It took over 30 minutes to get our food, to add salt to the wound - people in front of us got their food 10 minutes before us. The tenders came out burned. The wings weren’t sauced well at all. Fries were randomly seasoned. It used to be an explosion of flavor and the fries were covered in seasoning. We were huge fans and went frequently last year - it has taken such a bad turn. 🫤 Proceed with caution.
Great wings. As they say, it's not "fast food" but that's a good thing. Excellent alcoholic beverage choices, as well
Food was 10 out of 10! I'm definitely recommending this place to everyone i know! If you like a chill relax Vibe and grate atmosphere then you would love the thirsty chicken.
Been there 3 times in the 2 weeks since I moved to Leander, it is that good. Chicken is exceptional, spicy garlic parm and cajun dry rub are my favorites. The buffalo cauliflower was fantastic and reheated well the next day. The fries arent my favorite (I prefer a bit crispier), but with the house made ranch and cajun seasoning they really pop Love, love, LOVE. Will be taking any and all out of town guests here.
Arthur and crew are simply amazing. They are extremely cordial and prompt which makes the whole experience super pleasant. We love coming here and ordering our favorite Hen! Votes top 5 Best Wings in the entire Greater Austin area several times! Hidden 💎
While the staff was nice, it was very disappointing. We had high expectations given the ratings, but it was very disappointing. The fries were soggy, and undercooked, there were very cold on the inside. The wings were overcooked yet somehow had soggy skin. The fried pickle had so much batter, and was also soggy The only item on the menu that was okay, was the tenders. They were juicy, crispy, and pretty well seasoned too
