The Hair Stop Barber & Salon LHTX is more than just a place for a haircut. It's where kindness, patience, and genuine care come together. Mr. Tim has been cutting my little boy’s hair since he was just one, and now at four, he still looks forward to every visit. Tim is the only person who’s ever cut his hair, and that’s not just a tradition—it’s a testament to the trust and comfort he’s built with my son. He takes his time, makes sure my little guy feels safe and seen, and somehow turns what could be a stressful experience into a joyful one. Every visit feels like catching up with old friends. There’s warmth, laughter, and a sense of family that’s hard to find anywhere else. If you're looking for skilled barbers who truly care, even for your little ones, The Hair Stop is the place. Thank y'all for making haircuts something my son genuinely looks forward to. We’re so grateful for you all!

This place is the epitome of what Community is all about. I sat and watched a group of artists full of laughter, communicating on a genuine level with everyone that walked in the door. This place is what Austin used to be all about…….to find a gem like this is rare now. Keep doing what you’re passionate about…..it flows like music here. This place is a perfect example of what our earth and communities should look like. ♥️

I travel all the way from North Austin to Liberty Hill for Tim's services. This past Saturday, I waited from 10:50am (having scheduled an 11:00am appointment) to 12:40pm for my son's haircut. I cannot tell you how many terrible haircuts my son has had and only trust Tim for his esteemed services. The haircut itself doesn't take long, but he is so worth the wait considering how busy Saturdays are. I can totally appreciate the challenge that comes with patience required to deal with the wait time, however, I am truly blessed to have found The Hair Stop because it's truly a gem with amazing people. This past Saturday, I witnessed how the crew gently managed two children on the spectrum with such sincerity, ease, and humbling nurture. Every visit is humanizing and fills me with gratitude. This is a completely unsolicited and genuine review of this amazing local spot! I will truly miss the Hair Stop once I move back home.
