I wish that I would have used Solace Hospice for my husband. I had already signed with another hospice company before I spoke with Solace and I stupidly felt obligated to stay with my original choice. Fortunately my husband peacefully passed only 3 weeks after starting hospice care. During that time, I was contacted by the owner of Solace Hospice a number of times just to see how things were going and pray for my husband. She was NOT soliciting me to change care. Upon his passing, I received a phone call from the owner again, and then I also received a personalized sympathy card with all of the employees of Solace Hospice expressing their sympathies. I could not have been more touched. My daughter is a hospice director in Portland, OR and she checked out Solace Hospice and they have a wonderful nurse to patient ratio and amazing ratings.

As a healthcare provider, I have had the opportunity to work with several hospice agencies, and I can confidently say that my experience with this team has been exceptional. Their commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care is evident from the moment a referral is made through every step of the admission process. I especially want to recognize Brandon, who has been outstanding to work with. He is consistently responsive, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Brandon communicates clearly, follows through on every commitment, and goes above and beyond to ensure patients and their families receive timely support during what is often a very difficult transition. His ability to coordinate care efficiently while maintaining genuine compassion makes him an invaluable resource to both healthcare providers and the families we serve. Knowing that patients are being entrusted to a team that prioritizes dignity, comfort, and exceptional communication gives me great confidence when making referrals. I highly recommend this hospice agency to any provider looking for a dependable partner in end-of-life care. Brandon and the entire team exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and compassionate service.
First off, I am writing this review as my mom is entering the final days of her life. When this hospice search journey started, I thought it would be overwhelming. On the first call, I took a chance on the first 5-star rating hospice I came across on Google when my mom was hospitalized knowing her care would require additional resources despite her chronic illnesses. From the minute Erica picked up the phone, to Jason, the owner coming out to see me with Beckie (RN) —I knew the first few hours of our meet and greet with my mom that Solace Hospice was the one. And boy did they do everything they said they would do—including going above and beyond. From the minute my mother’s condition began to decline, they came to our aid immediately. They put the best team around us from RN (Beckie), Kenya (LVN), Ana (Caretaker) to Brandon (Social Worker) to help us through the pain management & resting plan to keep my mom pain free & comfortable. They have been transparent from the beginning and their communication and daily check-ins have been amazing. They demonstrate true compassion, support and help to make sure we have all the resources needed during this difficult process. I don’t know if that first call was a sign of luck…but the entire experience has been first class. Even the assisted living Director and Living Coordinators have never seen a hospice operate with this type of speed, efficiency and communication. They are definitely going to be recommending families that have residents in their communities to use Solace. What will make this journey tough for me when we lose my mom, is part of me will also miss the entire Solace family when this is over with. They really know how to draw you in…and I am tears writing this because these people really care—they loved us and open their hearts to my mom and us. Forever grateful. Thank you Nicki, Jason, Beckie, Kenya, Brandon and Ana. You all will always be considered family to us forever. ~ Chris, Krystal and Javi
Solace Hospice was extremely professional, caring, and very attentive to our needs. They are located in Pflugerville, Texas and also serve the greater Austin area. Very patient with all our questions and went above and beyond. Erica, our Community Liaison, was fantastic!
Couldn’t recommend Solace Hospice enough. From the very beginning—when my grandmother was hospitalized after a fall—to the moment she took her last breath, everyone at Solace Hospice was there to assist me every step of the way. Even after her passing, her care team offered support and checked in on my family routinely. The entire team was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly kind. Any medical equipment we needed was delivered quickly, and if something needed to be adjusted or replaced to better meet my grandmother’s needs, it was handled without any hassle. Whenever I called or texted, no matter the time of day, someone was always available to help. Most importantly, my grandmother received exceptional care from people who genuinely treated her like family. I only wish I had found Solace Hospice sooner. They made such a difficult time so much easier to navigate, which allowed me to focus on what mattered most—spending meaningful time with my grandma. To Beckie, Jason, Brandon, Erica, Jennifer, Kenya, Ana, and the rest of the team, thank you for your compassion, support, and everything you did for my family. Each of you made all the difference in the world during the most difficult time of our lives, and I will always be grateful for the care and kindness you showed my grandmother and family.
As a native Austinite, I cannot say enough about the kindness, the care, the love, and the dedication that Solace Hospice has shown. From quality medical management, to the unrushed approach of your care team during very difficult times—the true angels on your staff will never be forgotten. Thank you for not only serving Pflugerville, but also so many counties in the greater Austin area. We know you are bringing true peace of mind to so many patients and families. 💕
