The absolute WORST return/ exchange policy Very poor customer service
I want to share my experience today and the reason I chose 1 star. My husband & 13-year-old son went to Honey & Hay to buy me a Mother's Day gift. They bought me a piece of jewelry (cost over $100) which sadly was not my style. I took it back today to exchange it. I did not want my money back. I wanted to exchange this piece for something different. I have shopped at this store many times for jewelry (here are few transactions I have made at this store: December 2020: $139, December 2021: $188, August 2024: $100). The three ladies behind the counter said I could not exchange the piece UNLESS I exchanged it for the SAME name brand (Capucine De Wulf) of jewelry. Which all of the jewelry in that brand name were similar to the piece I did not like. None of the items were a style I would wear. The ladies did not offer to look me up to see if I had ever shopped there before. They did not offer me an instore credit. They saw that I was upset, and they did nothing to help resolve the problem. Their answer was no and basically too bad. I will NEVER shop at Honey & Hay in the future. I would advise if you do decide to shop here, ask for their return policy upfront.
Cutest boutique I have ever been to! Love stopping in here and grabbing gifts for friends and family! Every time I come in they have beautiful new displays! Gorgeous curations!
Beautiful items but ugly customer service. It’s the Saturday before Christmas so I’m looking for some cute stocking stuffers. Came in excited to shop and look around. I was not greeted, spoken too, asked if I wanted my items held or anything. All 4 employees were just sitting behind the counter. I work retail and this is not how you should interact with customers at all. I did one last walk through and they all just looked at me, no smile or anything. I put all my items back where they belong. Hopefully my next visit will be more pleasant. And hopefully a “Hi welcome in.” We’ll be said.
So disappointing! This is no better than a bottom shelf Hobby Lobby! I went expecting higher end home good for the price but was sorely disappointed by the quality and lack of inventory.
Pros: Well-curated selection of home decor and trendy clothing Cons: I really wanted to like this place because I shop local as often as possible. There were three saleswomen and only about 4 -5 shoppers in the store. Not a single associate acknowledged my presence or offered to help, so I ordered the enewton bracelets I saw in-store direct from the jeweler online.
If you love beautiful things, then this is the place for you! Visiting the store is like a feast for the eyes! I love the soft, long sleeve shirts. I can't get enough of them. Also, the store smells so good that you won't want to leave!
Super cute stuff but very expensive. Did not purchase anything but staff was friendly.
Some beautiful ideas for Christmas! They have the whole store decked out. It's beautiful!
