Easy to talk to. Even though I am older and stubborn he still keeps a positive demeanor. He is very knowledgeable and truly knows what he is talking about. Even when I try to do things my way, he takes the time to explain the benefits of what he is trying to do to help me. Great guy.
Recently, I visited the updated BSW Hutto Clinic. The extra staff and additional diagnostic services are a great addition to the clinic. For over 10 years, I have used the Hutto BSW clinic for my primary care. I am always impressed with the high level care by the doctor's, nurses and support staff. Dr.Ortiz is my primary care provider. He is a great listener. Also, he allows me to ask questions and provides an easy to understand response. Overall, I appreciate the excellent healthcare provided by Dr.Ortiz and his team members. Great job folks!
Excellent doctor. He genuinely cares, listens, and provides appropriate recommendations. He’s very knowledgeable and has great communication. If you want patient centered care this is one of the best docs on your team.
It may take a while for an initial appointment but once you’re established, Dr. Ortiz will take good care of you and listen to your needs.
I have been going to Dr Ortiz the past several years. I have chronic illnesses and have been turned away from two pcps in the past and gaslit by a lot of specialists. Dr Ortiz is extremely patient and has not given up on trying to get to the bottom of what’s going on with me. He actively listens in every appointment and always offers great direction and care. Turn around time for medication refills/ messages within the patient portal is fast as well! I recommend him to everyone!
Coming from seeing only miltary doctors for a long time, I was scared to start seeing a new doctor off post, To my surprise I really liked DR. Ortiz he took the time to go through my whole medical history to get me back to where I needed to be in my health, I feel relief my new doctor is very good, he didn’t rush the appointment either, it was a nice visit.
