Went for 3 weeks and was hoping to make this my home church. I loved the services and the teaching until the pastor spoke of one of the congregats who had the opportunity to leave the church and move to a different place for better opportunities for him and his family. The pastor basically told him he couldn’t and that he shouldn’t, that his loyalty was the church he was in. I was FURIOUS, who died and made him Jesus. Last I checked we are told to go and tell the world of the good news, not warm a bench and keep the pastor fat and happy in his Mercedes G Wagon. The church building is not the end all AT ALL it’s the means to the end. pastors like this will limit the people’s ability to spread the good news because he believes that the good news is bringing them to church and making it bigger. He believes he should be the guiding voice to the people which will limit their ability to listen to the Holy Spirit and find their own answers. Words matter pastor, you limited this man’s ability to be more because you didn’t think it was right for him. Your not the Holy Spirit, your not the answer, he came to you with a concern and instead of letting him decide YOU cut his leadership as a man and his ability to hear and follow his lord and savior.. SHAME ON YOU.
