We love it. My wife and I were looking for a good church where we could feel a real sense of community and from the moment we walked into Awaken Church, we felt right at home. Everyone was so welcoming, and over time we’ve made lifelong friends. We pray together, spend time together outside of church, and genuinely support one another. I love how there are so many Groups created by members for different purposes and interests. My wife and I are part of two discussion groups where we relax, talk about the Bible, and share about life (kids friendly). I also joined a men’s pickleball group, which has been such a fun way to connect, grow in faith, and improve at pickleball at the same time! What stands out most to me is the diversity in people, in perspectives, and in the message from our pastor. Awaken offers different pathways for every stage of your spiritual walk, whether you’re new to faith or growing deeper in your relationship with God.

Once you visit Awaken, you'll definitely comeback. I grew up not knowing what it meant to be in a community especially Biblically, but being at Awaken I see it on a daily basis. My faith, my marriage, my family has grown because of the amazing people that are there not only to hear you out but to also help. All it took was a nice cup of Hot Chocolate and prayer. I've learned how to be a better person for God's Kingdom, because of people that held me accountable when I feel like I was going in a different direction. Once your faith has been Awaken, you won't wanna sleep.🙏🏿🙌🏿

When we moved to Austin, we were looking for a church that was authentic with biblical teachings. We were especially looking for a community with people who we can friends with, people who have genuine faith, and people who can encourage us in our walk with God. We checked out 13 different churches, and when we went to Awaken Church for the first time, we just knew this was going to be our home (church). Awaken Church has powerful worship, purposeful, applicable, and Christ-center teachings, and people who truly care about you and want to connect with you. We have been here for a while now, and we love our church. We are connected with others at the church, growing in our faith, and finding different ministries to serve in. We welcome you to check us out this Sunday at 10:30am!

This church has been foundational to my walk in Christ in this season in my life. So many great people who are intentional about community and staying connected. And they just love spreading the love of Christ to those around them. It didn’t take me long to realize that this church was my home quickly after I started coming. And I haven’t looked back ever since. I love it here and would definitely recommend you coming to try it out for yourself. You never know what the Lord may have in store for you and your friends and family when you walk in through those doors.

The spirit of the Lord is definitely upon Awaken. The sense of peace and belonging our church brings my family is unmatched. You will be welcomed with open arms and warm smiles. We’ve been coming to Awaken for a little over 6 years and cannot boast enough about our community.

Awaken has been such a blessing for my fiancé and I! This church cares about your walk with the Lord and you can find amazing community here to grow with. I’m grateful for the way the pastors are truly invested in their congregation.

My wife and I decided a few years ago that it was time to get back to church and wanted to go somewhere where we could meet others in our community. I wasn’t sure where to try first but my wife had heard about Awaken. We went the first time with the intention of trying out a few other churches. After that first visit we felt so welcome and just enjoyed every aspect of the service that we never went anywhere else. It’s been about 3 years now and are very happy to be attending Awaken. We have made a lot of friends and always feel blessed to be there. So many ways to be involved. If you’re ever looking for a church to check out I’d highly suggest Awaken Church.
