I got my haircut done with Vinh and she was so good—loved the result!

Vinh is a gem! She cuts my son's hair with precision every single time. I love how sharp the neckline and around the ears look and she works around his cowlicks so well. She also cuts my girls hair and gives guidance on how to care for their long hair. Highly recommend!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to this time! My two-year-old recently got a haircut from Vinh, and she did an absolutely amazing job. He’s super squirmy and not the easiest client, but Vin was so patient, gentle, and fast — and somehow still gave him the perfect haircut. I’m so impressed and grateful. Highly recommend her, especially if you’ve got a little one!

Vinh is amazing! She always does such a clean, perfect job on my son’s hair. Super patient, detailed, and you can tell she really cares. We won’t go to anyone else!

I visited today around 1 p.m. as a walk-in with my son. We usually book online with Kelly, but this time we decided to go with the first available stylist. We were assigned to a tall woman who spoke very limited English. I showed her two reference photos and explained that a number 16 guard was needed. I also emphasized that while the sides could be cleaned up, it was important to keep the length on top. She later mentioned something about asking him about his bangs length, but from where I was sitting in the waiting area, I never heard her speak to him at all. In contrast, the stylist next to her was actively communicating with her client, asking about length, thickness, and even checking in before applying product. That kind of engagement is especially important with boys’ haircuts, where personal style and preference can vary widely. As soon as the haircut was done, I could see the disappointment on my son’s face. When she asked what he thought, he said it was fine, but it was clear he was upset by how much had been cut off. He ended up with a clean, traditional haircut that looked more like something his father might choose, not the slightly tousled, longer-on-top look we had discussed. It didn’t resemble either of the reference photos we brought in, not even a mix of the two. Before we left, I asked if she could use some product to help style it and maybe lift his spirits a bit. She replied with “powder?” which surprised me. I’m not a hairstylist, but no one has ever offered powder for my son’s hair before. At that point, the language barrier became even more obvious, and I didn’t feel comfortable trying to explain further. I said never mind, paid, tipped, and left with my son still clearly upset. It was disappointing to leave feeling like our instructions were ignored and our concerns couldn’t be communicated or addressed. I have chosen to give this place 3 stars, because we have had a great experience with Kelly multiple times and with the woman who does temporary color on hair in the back corner. I am taking 2 stars off based off todays experience and my son feeling embarrassed to go to his first day of school that is just around the corner with this haircut he hates.
