City Post

Went to City Post for Sunday brunch. First thing’s first - Parking is difficult depending on when you choose to go there. Be prepared to get there early and hunt for parking. I parked on Myrtle rd few blocks from the restaurant. Second, on Sunday it closes by 2pm, so be prepared to reserve and get there early. The restaurant is set in a gorgeous building and they have maintained the history of the place. The food is great, I loved it. I had the eggs Benedict with tenderloin and the eggs were just perfect. Paired with roasted potatoes, I had my fill of carbs for the day. The cocktails were the highlight - in transit and Georgetown sunrise - I’d recommend both :) Topped off the meal with Affogato and that was the icing on the cake for such a great meal. It’s a bit towards the pricey end but enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The service was great as well. Overall nice place to go for lunch!

Went for our anniversary dinner. This tomahawk porkchop was amazing. My partner enjoyed the fish. Will definitely be visiting again. Then went to the Brass Peacock, and if you're at the city post do yourself a favor and go downstairs. Very unique experience!

Only had oysters 🦪 and drinks, but both were very good. Service was very good, and they were very generous letting us sample till we picked what we liked. Cool and attentive staff with great service. Sorry my photos aren’t the best.

We’ve been a few times now and had one of the best meals last night with the lamb chops that were enough to share. We split a salad and our entree came with some delicious mashed potatoes. It’s the next day and we are still talking about how amazing the meal was paired with fantastic service. I think we’ll be back sooner rather than later. Also get the country white cake! It’s amazing!

Went there for my birthday and have to say was a premium experience. From the food, to our server Heidi making my birthday a truly special experience. She was attentive and very detailed in her service while helping us immensely with the menu on how things worked in the restaurant since it was our first time. She was amazing, and was a treat to have as our waitress/server. The Speakeasy’s atmosphere was also awesome! Felt like I was at a secret chamber in New Vegas ( I’m a humongous Fallout fan so the old prohibition theme and music is perfect scenery for me since the games and the show have that mid century feel). Will definitly come again, Thanks Heidi for the prime experience!
