Autumn leaves is such a clean, loving community. I really love how involved staff is with residents from activities, to the being greeted when you first walk in. The personalized care, dignity, and respect given to each resident will be a peace of mind. I recently had the pleasure of attending a family day with my cousin, where I encountered a familiar face. As I was about to greet her, she was engaged in providing care to a resident. My family and I initially met Ana in 2023 at another facility, and she has consistently demonstrated a warm and compassionate demeanor, exemplifying a personalized approach to care. Autumn Leaves is indeed fortunate to have her on staff, as she delivers heartfelt care to loved ones. Reviews from various facilities consistently highlight her exceptional dedication. Notably, Ana consistently goes above and beyond, performing tasks beyond her job description, including those that may be considered unpleasant. As a Med-aid/Staff Coordinator and a Resident Assistant, she demonstrates unwavering commitment to her work. Ana Pritchard provided care to my mother until her passing, and our family remains deeply grateful for her remarkable dedication. It is clear that Autumn Leaves would be well-advised to retain her exceptional services. I informed my cousin about Ana, and I am delighted that my aunt has settled on this lovely and cozy facility. Furthermore, Autumn Leaves is a very nice, clean, and well-maintained facility, with a staff and administrators who are highly engaging with the residents and exceedingly pleasant.
Autumn Leaves has been the perfect home for my Dad and for our family. My dad's health has improved in the last year with the care and love from the staff at Autumn Leaves. They have taken such good care of my Dad, I don't know how to thank them enough. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and a happy place for all the residents. The staff holds several activities throughout the month and engage the residents and families to be involved. We absolutely love the current staff with Sandra Jefferson as the Director, she is so professional and goes above and behind to provide care for the residents. Her loving personality along with her experience in care taking gives my family such peace of mind, knowing Dad is in good hands. Thank you Sandra for everything you do for my Dad! The home also has support group meetings for loved ones to attend and connect with other families. I have gotten to know the residents family members very well and we help support and care for eachother. The facility is clean and staff pays extra attention to ensuring all rooms are cleaned and each resident is getting care. We are one family, we love all the residents and enjoy spending time with everyone. Thank Autumn Leaves for all your hard work in caring for our loved ones. Highly recommend 10/10 stars.
The topic of elder care is a deeply personal one for many. When my mother's needs of care were beyond what we could provide, the search for a proper facility became a focus for us. I toured and interviewed a dozen or so facilities in the Central Texas area. We settled on Autumn Leaves, and it has become a second home for my mother and a source of reassurance for our family. The care provided to my mother has been nothing short of exceptional. From skilled nursing care to daily activities and everything in between, the entire team's dedication is palpable. The compassion with which they approach their work is reflected in the subtle nuances of care β the softness of tone when assisting with a task, the patience during mealtimes, and the love shown during moments my mother needs it most. It is a level of care that extends far beyond professional obligation; it is genuine and heartwarming. We feel mom is treated as an individual, with unique needs and preferences. The attention to personal care is meticulous. The staff took the time to understand my mother's history, likes, and dislikes, adjusting their approach with astuteness and finesse. Mom is encouraged to participate in activities. The calendar is filled with a variety of activities that engage and bring her joy. I've gotten photos of her dancing with a staff member, enjoying music played by guest musicians, and "bowling." Autumn Leaves has created an environment that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also inherently designed for the safety and comfort of its residents. The facility is immaculate, providing a clean and serene environment that is conducive to comfort and happiness. The security measures in place are reassuring, ensuring that the vulnerable are protected and any risks are mitigated proactively. The staff is diligent in providing for the residents' needs, ensuring that they are comfortable not just physically, but also emotionally. My family and I find solace in the knowledge that mom is in such good hands. My experience with Autumn Leaves in Georgetown has been a positive and enriching one, a beacon of hope in what can be a daunting phase of life for many. I write this piece not just to share my journey but to adamantly state that there are sanctuaries where the elderly are not just cared for, they are cherished. The peace of mind that comes with knowing my mother is safe and comfortable is immeasurable.
Mother is doing well. 2nd month. Dogs can visit too with vaccination. Mom adjusted after a couple of months. I believe it is the family's decision making this emotionally tormenting time more aggressious with only 1 star reviews. These 1 star reviews have not seen some of the places I have visited over the last 2 years. When mom first arrived back in July 2021, I came twice a week. First night mom was tired and I just put her in bed and she went into deep slumber. I gave The Reserves at Georgetown 5 Stars π because the program is ****Montessori. If you are not familiar with Montessori it's basically the caretakers gives care at the level the individual is at in their life. My mother is absolutely physically healthy. Her brain may have lost memory but her body and character is still blossoming. Michele and Dorothy are two of my favorite employees there. They send me pictures, helped me in my personal grieving process. They keep me updated as I am a traveling nurse (25 years as RN). Giving the entire facility 1 star π as a health-care professional auditor shows "anger." Realistic expectations has to be understood by people who are not aware what actually is happening when you are not there. I am there. I see people doing pleasant activities or doing whatever they physically can do based upon Montessori. My mother plays the Grand Piano daily. Her last facility made all residents stay in their rooms because of fear of CV19 and told her not to play the piano because of noise. My mother also functions as a "helper" in the nutrition department. She needs to be worthy or goal oriented so I asked if she could have a "Job." Mom believes she is there as a nutrition attendant. She absolutely loves telling me about her new role. I can't tell you how many things Michele and Dorothy do Monday-Friday to ensure my mom is happy. My mom is a hard person to manage because she is a born princess. Yes, my mother can be a pain because she wants tons of attention but the facility gives my mother anything she needs and more. Her hair stylist colors and cuts her hair, mother's room is beautiful and spacious. The janitorial workers are always cleaning and shampooing the carpet, furniture, and touch surfaces. I maybe biased because I am a nurse. I don't see how anyone there could have bed bugs? The place is luxury living. The price point is right at moderate for accommodation. My mother never danced in her life but is now full on dancing, fashion shows, and of course her avid love of music and Korean Netflix Movie. I decorated my mother's suite. I am happy she has this beautiful place with real opportunities to continue to live forward to than to be at my home. We were so guarded that we both slept all the time and I had to tell my entire neighborhood to watch out for my mother wondering. Mother says she is having fun. She also has friends too. As with all friends, she has fall outs but they make up after few days. She is like 16 years old (mentally) but actually 74. I am confident that no one there goes to work saying they are going to be "nasty, mean, unprofessional" intentionally. I haven't seen that but I had to rewrite my post because the Good News is our community does have a smaller 43 beds Memory Care Only Facility right in the heart β€ of Georgetown,TX. Thank you guys at The Reserves. You are amazing and I look forward to coming by soon. P.S. My mother says the food is delicious. Thank you again! God bless you π and all His workers there at The Reserves in Georgetown!!!!
