****************We meet at 6:30ish (near kayak rentals) and take a pre-walk photo before we start down the path clockwise around the lake at 6:40…feel free to catch up if you’re late! 😁*** **We often conclude this meetup with Italian Ice at Jeremiah’s (Whitestone) following the walk. No pressure to join us, but it does taste delicious following the walk! PLEASE NOTE: Jeremiah’s is temporarily closed while they relocate to Ronald Reagan. We have been going other places in the meantime.**

We’ll keep a relaxed, easy pace that works for all fitness levels, with plenty of space for casual conversations along the trail. The vibe is low-pressure and social, making it easy to meet new people whether you come solo or with a friend.**

**Hi I’m Heather, your friendly neighborhood walking organizer person thingie. I’m newish to Texas and enjoying everything this area has to offer, especially the interesting people! I’m easily distracted and I love photography so I will stop and take photos along the way. I often forget what I’m saying mid conversation. Think absent-minded professor but shorter and with longer hair. But I am determined/stubborn and will walk if I am at all capable of doing so because I know how quickly that privilege can change! I tend to walk a bit on the slower side, but we usually finish the loop by 8 if not earlier.
