 ublic Library team and volunteers are excited to offer a new service: A Re
 pair Clinic! Instead of throwing away your household appliance or clothes 
 that have broken\, bring them by one of our Sunday clinic sessions to work
  with volunteers and bring it back to usefulness! We'll have our first ses
 sion in a few weeks\, on August 30th\, and then have another clinic in the
  last Sunday of October\, the 25th. Afterwards\, we'll assess how things w
 ent\, and then plan to start a regular pattern of these clinics starting i
 n January 2027.\n\nThis program requires pre-registration\, listed below\,
  and is intended for small items. Here's a short list of examples of likel
 y accepted items:\n\n1) Small household electronics: Lamps\, toasters\, ca
 n openers\, clocks\, stereos\n\n2) Clothing: Zipper replacements\, buttons
 \, limited stitching\, tears. Hat repair is also available\, (millinery)\n
 \n3) Bicycles: Work will almost certainly need to be done outside in the l
 ibrary courtyard\n\n4) Some limited computer and like device repair can be
  attempted\, but no programming assistance will be available\n\n5) Book re
 pair and binding\n\nIf we receive multiple requests to repair similar item
 s\, we might email you to assign a later arrival time\, so that you aren't
  waiting too long.\n\nAlso\, here is a list of items that we will not cons
 ider for repair:\n\n1) Firearms or other types of weapons\n\n2) Anything c
 ontaining or coated in liquid of any kind\n\n3) Anything that presents a h
 ygiene concern\, (microphones being one example)\n\n4) No clothing alterat
 ions or builds from scratch\n\n5) No alterations or reprogramming of opera
 ting systems\, ('breaking' phones\, or modifying ROM on a PC)\n\nThe volun
 teers will do their best to help repair your device\, but we cannot guaran
 tee desired results.\n\nDon't Forget List:\n\n1) Any power cords or other 
 parts necessary for it to function\n\n2) It is very useful to email a phot
