 ation: \n The Round Rock Public Library is hosting a family Book Character
  Pumpkin Decorating Contest that begins on Friday\, October 23\, 2026. Fam
 ilies are invited to decorate a pumpkin\, artificial pumpkin\, or gourd as
  a book character or with a literary theme and drop it off at the Round Ro
 ck Public Library's 2nd floor Youth Reference Desk from Friday\, October 2
 3\, 2026\, at 9:00 am – Friday\, October 30\, 2026\, at 1:00 pm.\n\nTeen A
 dvisory Board members will vote for their favorite pumpkins and choose the
  1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place winners. Winners will be notified by the end of
  the day on Thursday\, November 5\, 2026\, and will receive a Barnes and N
 oble gift card!\n\nContest Rules:\n\nOne pumpkin entry per family may be e
 ntered into the contest. Pumpkin submissions must be based on a book and/o
 r book character. \n The library cannot accept carved pumpkin submissions.
  Only painted and/or decorated whole pumpkin submissions may be entered in
 to the contest. \n Submissions will not be accepted before Friday\, Octobe
 r 23\, 2026\, at 9:00 am. \n All contest submissions must be accompanied b
 y a pumpkin entry form. Forms will be available at the 2nd floor Youth Ref
 erence Desk starting Friday\, October 23\, 2026\, at 9:00 am. \n Contest s
 ubmissions must be turned in to library staff by Friday\, October 30\, 202
 6\, at 1:00 pm. Late pumpkin submissions will not be accepted. \n Winning 
 families will receive a Barnes and Noble gift card: 1st place $30\, 2nd pl
 ace $20\, and 3rd place $10. \n The Teen Advisory Board will choose the 1s
 t\, 2nd\, and 3rd place pumpkins. Winners will be notified by the end of t
 he day on Thursday\, November 5\, 2026. \n All pumpkins must be picked up 
 on Saturday\, October 31\, 2026\, at 5:00 pm. Pumpkins that are not picked
