 racter Pumpkin Decorating Contest that begins on Friday\, October 23\, 202
 6. Families are invited to decorate a pumpkin\, artificial pumpkin\, or go
 urd as a book character or with a literary theme and drop it off at the Ro
 und Rock Public Library’s 2nd floor Youth Reference Desk from Friday\, Oct
 ober 23\, 2026\, at 9:00 am – Friday\, October 30\, 2026\, at 1:00 pm.\n\n
 Teen Advisory Board members will vote for their favorite pumpkins and choo
 se the 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place winners. Winners will be notified by the 
 end of the day on Thursday\, November 5\, 2026\, and will receive a Barnes
  and Noble gift card!\n\nContest Rules:\n\nOne pumpkin entry per family ma
 y be entered into the contest. Pumpkin submissions must be based on a book
  and/or book character.\n\nThe library cannot accept carved pumpkin submis
 sions. Only painted and/or decorated whole pumpkin submissions may be ente
 red into the contest.\n\nSubmissions will not be accepted before Friday\, 
 October 23\, 2026\, at 9:00 am.\n\nAll contest submissions must be accompa
 nied by apumpkin entry form. Forms will be available at the 2nd floor Yout
 h Reference Desk starting Friday\, October 23\, 2026\, at 9:00 am.\n\nCont
 est submissions must be turned in to library staff by Friday\, October 30\
 , 2026\, at 1:00 pm. Late pumpkin submissions will not be accepted.\n\nWin
 ning families will receive a  Barnes and Noble  gift card: 1st place $30\,
  2nd place $20\, and 3rd place $10.\n\nThe Teen Advisory Board will choose
