 tists Monica Mohnot and Erica Dincalci\, join the Georgetown Art Center in
  the gallery's Opening Reception event! Featuring live music\, charcuterie
 \, and wine\, guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and dis
 cuss featured works throughout the gallery. This is a free event taking pl
 ace during normal business hours and is open to all ages.\nTextiles serve 
 as vessels of memory\, identity\, and transformation. In Interwoven: Stori
 es in Thread\, two artists explore fiber’s storytelling power through weav
 ing\, embroidery\, and mixed media. One artist reconstructs personal histo
 ries of addiction and grief into vibrant\, fragmented patterns\, while the
  other layers textiles and paint to reflect migration\, labor\, and identi
 ty. Blending tradition with digital techniques\, their works unravel and r
 eassemble narratives\, inviting viewers to engage with the tactile imprint
