DESCRIPTION:Build your child’s communication skills through shared reading!
  Storytime with AAC aims to support families/caregivers of Augmentative an
 d Alternative Communication (AAC) users in demonstrating language on their
  child’s AAC device\, developing a love for reading\, and building languag
 e through shared interaction and connection.\n\nThis program is led by Lea
 nder ISD with support from undergraduate and graduate students in the Spee
 ch-Language Pathology program at the University of Texas and Texas State U
 niversity. Who Can Attend? This program is designed for AAC users ages 4-2
 1. Siblings of AAC users are welcome. Please note that communicating with 
 an AAC device is usually very slow\, and we will pace storytime with this 
 in mind.\n\nA parent/caregiver must accompany the child at each session.\n
